The Meeting Kit

Three prompts that turn any meeting from an hour you lose into a decision you make. Copy, paste, go.

1️⃣ Before the meeting — The Meeting Prompt

Run this 30 seconds before you walk in (paste your calendar invite where marked):

Here's a meeting I'm about to walk into: [paste the invite — title, attendees, agenda, any email thread]

Give me, in under 200 words total:

  1. The ONE decision this meeting actually exists to make.
  2. My three best questions, ranked — the ones that move that decision.
  3. What each attendee probably wants out of this, based on their role.
  4. The trap — where this meeting will waste its time, and the one sentence I can use to steer it back.
  5. My 30-second opener.

Why it works: most meetings drift because nobody named the decision. Walk in already knowing it — plus the question that unlocks it — and you're the most prepared person in the room. Nobody can tell the difference between that and the smartest.

2️⃣ For recurring meetings — The Standing-Meeting Variant

Weekly status calls have no invite worth pasting. Use this instead:

This is my weekly [team/project] meeting. Here's what happened since last week: [2-3 bullets, rough is fine]

Give me:

  1. The one update that actually matters to this group (and one line on why).
  2. The question I should ask that nobody will.
  3. What I should ask to REMOVE from this meeting's agenda permanently.

Run it three weeks in a row and watch the meeting get shorter each time.

3️⃣ After the meeting — The Follow-Up Closer

Before you even leave the room, paste your rough notes into the same chat:

Here are my rough notes from that meeting: [paste — messy is fine]

Draft the follow-up email: decisions made, owners, deadlines, and the one open question. Under 150 words. Confident, no fluff.

The person who sends the follow-up first owns the meeting's memory. That's now always you.

⚡ Pro tips

Keep one chat per meeting series. The AI accumulates context week over week — by month two it knows the project better than half the attendees.
